An experienced leader with a background in both the not-for-profit and the commercial worlds, Pia has always had a keen interest in international affairs and strengthening organisational performance. Starting her career as a production assistant with the Chinese Service of the BBC’s World Service Radio, Pia then moved on to various roles in external affairs and corporate social responsibility for BP. She then entered the development field as Chief Executive of the Tropical Health and Education Trust, and subsequently Country Director for Save the Children China and International Director at Oxford Policy Management. Due to her background, Pia is well versed in understanding commercial discipline from practical experience. She takes pride in the social change she has overseen in these roles, but also in the development of those around her.

Pia is also on the Board of the Great Britain China Center and Kings Global Health Partnership.

At home, you can find her with her musically talented family, or perhaps out for a stroll to get some peace and quiet.
